A week after my 24th birthday, I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in my right breast & auxillary lymphnodes.
I underwent a double mastectomy, 18 weeks of intravenous chemotherapy, 5 1/2 weeks of radiation and 3 reconstructive surgeries.
With all the disgusting side effects, I lost a significant amount of weight, all of my hair, had to replace my boobies with new ones, and now have lymphadema in my right arm.
No fun?
THINK AGAIN!
As my hair fell out, I had an awesome mohawk for a few days! And despite not being able to work full time, I was constantly surrounded by my amazing friends and family, laughing more than I ever have, which is a better cure for cancer than any oncologist could recommend!
Which brings us to today. I recently Wrote, Produced and Directed a short film to raise awareness about the effects of cancer, and I need your help getting it out there!
With your contributions, I can make this film available to the public. I would like to get it circulated in film festivals, colleges, on the internet, and hold seminars. But these things cost $money$. This is a non-profit project. The entire film was a labor of love, fully financed by many amazing people who support the idea that laughter heals all. Thank you so much for your help and remember,
DIE FROM LAUGHING, NOT FROM CANCER!
