Surgery #5 - A brilliant success!
Today, Elysia had her second round of fat grafting to complete the reconstructive process. Depending on how well it takes, this may be her last surgery for a while. This was the easiest one yet. Not just because Elysia has become a surgery pro, but because she had an amazing team. Her anesthesiloigist was very careful about giving her the lightest amount of anesthesia necessary, making the recovery process quick and painless. This, along with the last three surgeries, was an outpatient procedure. Elysia is happily at home, eating soy ice cream and watching the Girls Next Door :).

Cast and Crew Screening!
The film is done! Thank you so much to Peter Atencio (editor), Chris Wilson (composer) and Stage 6 (sound design) for their hard work during post production.
Our cast and crew screening is coming up in less than two weeks on Wednesday April 11th and I cannot thank Chris Wilson, Tom Hanks and the agents and staff at CAA, especially Richard Lovett, Nancy Chou and Mel Berman, for setting it all up for us. If you were invited and have not yet RSVP'd please do so asap. This event has limited seating with a guest list only policy.
This is not a premiere, this is a private event.

Surgery #4 - A success!
Today, Elysia had a successful 4th surgery. Dr.Lisa Casselith has begun the final steps in Elysia's reconstructive process. Fat was grafted from her stomach to her breasts to fix any imperfections. Only 33% of fat takes at a time (the rest will get dissolved back into the body), so they expect to do this surgery at least once more. Dr. Casslieth eventually wants to replace Elysia's implants entirely with fat. This will look and feel more natural than silicone and fat tissue is not susceptible to breast cancer!

That's a Wrap!
Wednesday November 8th was a picture wrap for LOSE WEIGHT WITH CANCER!
What an incredible week. Thank you so much to all my cast and crew. You did a phenomenal job.
The Wrap party will be Saturday the 11th at KOJI's Which is on the 4th floor of Hollywood and Highland. They have a full bar, sushi and shabu. We'll be there from 7-11ish and maybe move the party elsewhere once the karaoke gets out of control and we cant deal. parking is $2 after validation.
There is tons of post to be done (voice over, cartoon, inserts of stills, editing, etc.). We plan to be ready for screening in early 2007.
Some highlights of shooting include:
Friday
- 4 hot babes freezing their asses (and just about the rest of their flesh) off for me
- Dave getting a burrito slam from MTL
Saturday
- Beverly Hills Radiology letting us use their multi-million dollar radiation machine to fry Laurel
- Tower Hematology leaving us alone with the security code to run rampant through the hospital for whatever we please
- Jonah Ray... and "a good wheelchair joke never hurt anyone"
-Fee was PERFECT!
Sunday
-Our two Stallions Matt Braunger and Joker the Horse
- Make that three, Paul the meth addict and his half shirt
-Anderson and Iman ala Miami Vice
- Gioa snackin on "some chicken"
Monday
-The sexiest double team in tennis
- Almost getting kicked out of the rec room
- Pdub's cameo...mmmm rice cake vomit
- Arielle cracked out
Wednesday
- Peter Baileys fish shirt!
- Ben's miracle mediwana
- Fee always getting a seat on the bus
- Mac and John are one hot couple
